DMCA & Copyright Notices

Since Vids.tv is DMCA friendly, we welcome any DMCA notices and attempt to resolve them within a 24 hour window. As we cannot be held responsible for what our users decide to post links to, we have facilitated the DMCA process to make it quicker and easier for infringing content to be removed expeditiously.

At Vids.tv we spend a considerable amount of our time finding links on such official websites as Hulu, Fancast, CWTV, NBC, Seesaw, ABC, CBS, The WB Network, and so on. These always take precedence over user submitted links. Unfortunately we feel that since the aforementioned websites are restricted to the United States only, and we are an international website, we allow our users to submit links of their own – linking to any website they please. As a matter of fact, we also spend a considerable amount of time filtering the links that are submitted – but this is not at all an easy task. Vids.tv does not embed any videos on our website; we only provide external links to resources.

If you feel that we have any infringing link(s) on our website, you must provide a list of those video(s) to ourselves. We will act immediately to remove the infringing link(s) from our website, and in addendum, block any further attempts at re-adding the same link(s). Furthermore, if you hold the copyrights to any show(s) on our website, you may also request that we restrict any show to only links that we submit (Hulu, Fancast, CWTV, NBC, Seesaw, ABC, CBS, The WB Network, and so on). We will also remove every user submitted link, and prevent users from submitting any more links for that particular show.

Once we have successfully received a DMCA request, we will take immediate steps by first banning the user(s) which submitted the infringing content, and subsequently remove every link that you have submitted to us. If you decided also to request that we restrict the submissions for a particular show(s), we will remove every user submitted links for that show(s), and leave only the official links (Hulu, Fancast, CWTV, NBC, Seesaw, ABC, CBS, The WB Network, and so on). All of these actions we aim to carry out within a 24 hour window – but please be aware that sometimes this may take a little longer – we therefore politely ask that you wait 72 hours before asking for an update.
